Dark red walls and quite a small bar area, this gastro currently has ox cheek and snails on the menu. There's a restaurant room, meaning bar-goers are crammed into half the pub, so on a Thursday evening this place was a bit too busy for my liking. I'm sure this is a popular stop-off for those heading to one of the local theatres, as most people in here are not wearing jeans or trainers.
