25th Sep 2012 - Another Sam Smith pub so very little explanation needed. Upstairs is like my grans front room except with a bar along the back wall and more seats and a few other differences. But otherwise identical. The toilets are small and the bar when you walk in is flanked by 2 tables on each side. When I arrived early I sat to the left with 2 other people who were also reading so as to avoid talking to actual strangers. Some people myself included listened a little to hard when mummy said don't talk to strangers, its a shame she didn't warn me off masturbating as my hand would hurt a lot less. Any hoo on my second round I heard the barman saying the beer prices had essentially gone up because their beer is superior to fosters etc and said comparing the 2 was like comparing milk to champagne. I agree the beer here is miles better than fosters but its not the worlds greatest. More like milk to milkshake. This is a great little boozer and is always buzzing and next time I have to talk to architects I expect we'll start here.
