Having lived in Liverpool for over a quarter of a century it came as something of a surprise to discover that I had never been in what is perhaps the best pub in the city. Located at the far end of Dale Street behind a flyover, it doesn't look that inviting, nor is it somewhere you'd walk past and discover. But, inside awaits an oasis of real ale, imported beers and fine Belgian beer. I need to go more to write a proper review, but you should go too.
