4th May 2012 - The Crown is a small jewel in the area. The Victorian pub holds to its roots well with snob screens (as I was informed), beautifully etched glass, lots of wood panelling and divided rooms that helped to maintain a cosy feeling.
The barmaids were helpful and allowed us to sample the beer before trying.
For a post-work Thursday the place was quiet, but I have no complaints about that.
