3rd May 2012 - I ambled in out of the rain and appeared to be in a pub with no seats. Thankfully I was wrong (it does happen) and I ordered a well kept Doombar and decided to sit at a stool by the front window. The window was stained glass and the small area felt like a mini dance floor. There was a small carpeted area at the back which had a few people sat in stoney silence sipping their beers. The silence of the punters must be due to the fact they were all listening intently to some charty poppy s**te that was violating my eardrums. I wasn't impressed the atmosphere was more comparable to a library. Maybe Saturday afternoon is a bad time. I'm sure I came before and thought it was fine but this visit found me drinking fast so I could leave.

16th Oct 2005 - Traditional looking pub which is fine enough for a drink after traipsing after crowds in Oxford St. The bar staff were nice and this seems to attract slightly older punters. They were advertising a live jazz evening last time I walked past.
