A quite fantastic pub located under Cannon Street rail bridge. I'd been past the Banker several times but never in until now. Unassuming and apparently tiny from the outside, it is infact a spacious and well decorated (dare I say sophisticated) venue with arched ceilings, little alcoves and a pleasant balcony overlooking the river. A typical selection of beers but an interesting meze/tapas style menu. As you would expect the locals are all city-folk and as a result it's not open at the weekends but this is still a great little pub.

Really lovely riverside pub. High ceilings, wasn't too busy, lots of seating inside and out and pop tunes audible near the bar. Toilets pretty decent quality. Menu looked interesting, especially if you like cheese. Will definitely revisit this one.
