2nd Jun 2006 - When Wembley used to host England games (you never know it may host them again one day in the future if Multiplex ever pull their finger out!), football fans used to congregate here before jumping on the Met Line and heading up to Wembley Park. The pub itself is ideal as a convenient meeting point, but otherwise doesn't have too much to entice the punter in. A couple of quiz machines, a screen up for the sport and average beer. Never made it upstairs so can't comment on that. Not that cheap either. I would recommend the Allsop Arms just round the corner as an alternative.

1st Jun 2006 - Very average pub, with sports screens and quiz machines. Smokey downstairs and non smoking upstairs, which you can hire. Set right on the main road opposite Baker Street tube. It does actually date back to 1735 and there are tales of it being haunted, but if you can find any of this history underneath the football and stella remains, I'd be surprised.
