The sister to the Big Chill Bar off Brick Lane, this is a great asset to Kings Cross, opened this summer (2006). More spacious and (at the moment) less crowded than the bar version, the 'House' is still an atmospheric collection of rooms, with djs playing chilled music and funky-looking barmaids. Bouncers on the door will check your bags in the evening, and the area is not renowned for its safety, but at least it's right next to the station so good transport links.
