13th Jul 2007 - Oddish place this, very pubby at the front part of the pub, complete with jovial Scottish landlord, and at the rear of the bar there is a canteen style kitchen cooking just about anything as long as it's deep fried and can be served in a bun or with extra oil. Shame really as it makes the pub reek of cooking, but maybe that's just because it doesn't stink of smoke anymore. All in all a decent pub.

13th Jul 2007 - Smells of chips and grease but has a cosy feel to it. I can imagine this place having lock-ins and flouting the no smoking law after house for some reason. Real locals feel to it...not half bad, don't let the shabby exterior totally put you off.
