A small cafe bar hidden away at the bottom of the Isle of Dogs. The building is an old Scottish presbyterian church and was built for the dockers that used to live and work in the area. What was the church hall is now a small and intimate theatre and there are regular shows, everything from Shakespeare to psychic evenings. Upstairs is the bar itself, and extended opening hours on Thur-Sat make it a handy oasis on the way home from the wharf, if you live near by obviously. Food is very good and is excellent value. A quiet Sunday morning with one of the many papers provided and a sausage sandwich is a good way to start the day.

Feels studenty, relaxed good for breakfast or lunches. Cheap and friendly. Good for chatting no disturbed by sports on telly or fruit machines. No gimmicks apart from the two massive goldfish in their aquarium!

Jolly nice warm atmosphere, and jolly friendly staff and jolly tasty Stella and jolly nice Steak, cooked to within an inch of perfection, and jolly good selection of games (yaght-see you jimmy, jenga, chess) and jolly nice all round. Only gripe would be about size of toilet which is like a broom cupboard, but i refuse to gripe about that as it just adds to the charm of the place - oh yes!

Nice wee bar; real gas lights giving off weird odours, tasty food, games. Theatre underneath allegedly, tho' didn't bother checking it out. V comfy all round; I'd hang out here on a regular basis if it weren't for the fact that it's miles from where i live!

Kind of arty, or something. Nice breakfast menu, which is good for a groggy Saturday/Sunday morning - good selection of papers too, you'll often Fin here reading them on the morn as he is too pikey to buy his own.

Odd little bar with a strange belly dancing restaurant beneath. Had a really nice feel to it though - friendly staff and locals, comfy sofas -v chilled place to spend an afternoon or evening. 10 times better than any of the other pubs that I've been to on the Isle of Dogs!

It's a bar, it only has two draught beers and I didn't like it much.
Staff are friendly enough and the food looked poncey but ok.
Apparently there is a happy hour betwen 17:00 and 19:00 on weekdays when beer goes down to ?2 a pint - so it may be worth going in then.
Its attached to a theatre type thing (or a 'performance space' as they probably refer to it). They do events, they looked dull.
They do have a good selection of board games, but its a poncey bar and I don't like it.
