8th May 2012 - Usually a pub towards the end of a crawl for me so an daylight trip was a new experience for me, and I made my first sighting of the new Greene King IPA Tap Thing. Looked like a corporate lager tap to me. I swiftly ordered the Golden Sheep which went down a treat. This is a cosy pub with a bit of space around the bar and a small area near the toilets with a great map on the wall which I have always thought was cool. However my idea of what is cool will probably not interest the tourist guides. I also liked the toilet signs and the pub is a good pub. Nothing really to complain about but I wouldn't want to spend all day here. I think you know the sort of pub. Just another London Pub really, a bit of dark wood some pub stools, decent service. All good just not enough to keep me for any length of time.

26th Jul 2008 - Unremarkable pub in itself but lucky to be situated slap-bang in the middle of Rathbone place. It's a good place to meet and as a result it's also always busy of an evening. Good in the summer if you can get a seat outside.
